Early Learning — 15 hours per week
For families receiving qualifying benefits, including Universal Credit (household income £15,400 or less), Income Support, or if your child has an EHC plan or receives Disability Living Allowance.
3 & 4 Year Olds
Working Parents — 30 hours per week
For eligible working parents — made up of the 15 universal hours plus 15 additional hours.
Universal — 15 hours per week
Free early education for every child, from the term after their 3rd birthday. No income or work requirements — this is for everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, fees are payable for 48 weeks of the year. We close for Easter week, the last two weeks of August, and the week in which Christmas and Boxing Day fall, as well as on bank holidays. Monthly fees are calculated to spread the cost evenly throughout the year.
Fees are payable monthly in advance, due on the 1st of each month. We accept bank transfer and childcare vouchers.
The daily session fee of £60.00 covers your child’s place for the full day (8am–6pm). Meals (breakfast, lunch, tea and snacks) are charged separately at £10.00 per child per day. Parents are asked to provide their own nappies and wipes. You’ll also need to bring a change of clothes and any comfort items your child needs.
We ask for one month’s notice for any changes to sessions. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs, subject to availability.
Yes, we do offer Term Time Only places. Children attend nursery for the 38 weeks of the year, following the Shropshire County Council term dates. Please contact us for more details.
Funded hours are allocated termly and cover up to 38 weeks per year (or can be “stretched” across more weeks at fewer hours). You’ll need to apply through the government’s Childcare Service at gov.uk and receive an eligibility code. We’ll help you work out the best way to use your entitlement when you register. Please note that meals are charged separately and are not covered by funded hours.
Both parents (or the sole parent in a single-parent household) must each earn at least the equivalent of 16 hours per week at the National Minimum Wage, and neither parent can earn more than £100,000 per year. This includes employed, self-employed and company directors. You may also qualify if one partner receives Carer’s Allowance or certain disability benefits.
Funded hours start from the term after your child reaches the eligible age. The start dates are: 1 January (for children who turn the eligible age between 1 September and 31 December), 1 April (1 January to 31 March), or 1 September (1 April to 31 August).
